I like puzzles
I have completed the NYT crossword puzzle every day for the past 3 years. I will continue to do so until the New York Times itself goes out of existence. I’m also always the first person to pick up one of those little metal puzzles made out of metal or wood and not put it down until I figure it out.
I like doing stuff
I’ve visited 27 out of 63 national parks (almost halfway there!) My favorites so far are Grand Teton, Yosemite, and Olympic.
Despite living in a 5th floor apartment in Los Angeles, I love gardening and I grow tomatoes, lemons, herbs, and flowers. If you have any issues with your own personal plant growing activities, I’m glad to lend a hand.
I like looking at stuff
The thing I waste the most money on is my favorite hobby, film photography. I have a recurring dream where my camera back comes off and I waste a whole roll of film. I get a massive amount of satisfaction when I get the ‘perfect’ shot.
I once saw Kevin Bacon standing by the bacon case at McCall’s Meat Market on Vermont (I didn’t take a picture, I’m sorry.)
I like to collect things. Some of my favorite collections are smashed pennies from around the world (122), cookbooks (25), vintage dresses (used to be 50+, but I’ve been Marie Kondo-ing those), and mid-century house furnishings (honestly, no idea of the count on those.)
